I was visiting from up North and desperate for some real southern flavor. I was hoping for mole sauce but the waitress was pretty sure it had peanuts (allergic). She recommended the steak picado. SO MUCH FLAVOR! Hubby tried the molcajetes and was definitely impressed. One of my must-haves for Mexican food is fresh tortillas. We could watch them being made and they were incredible! Stretchy enough to hold the fixins and flavorful enough to eat on their own. I had beer and tortillas for dessert because I couldn't stop myself.
Food: food was great! I had the shrimp fajitas with Rice and Beans. My husband has the beef taco My mom had the chile relleno and enchilada plate. Service: was good Ambiance: it was a bit loud for my comfort. Hard to sustain a conversation.
The food here is so so good, Steak Tacos. The micheladas are on point. The service and staff were great. Joe, & Charlie, make the vibe spectacular.
I used to come to Glorias and spend my time in the bar section. Good beers, great appetizers... leave DRUNK!! Now that im older i come to Glorias on weekend mornings for their amazing menudo. I don't order anything else, i dont even need to look at the menu. And It SLAPS every time. So i guess Glorias has a little something for everyone; Family stuff to the left (the restaurant) and great music, drinks and vibe to the right (the bar section)
